I went for an annual checkup. Dr. Gurland spent over an hour listening, explaining and discussing each issue. There was never a sense that I was taking up his time. The appointment ended only when both of us were satisfied that everything had been addressed and a course of action was in place for each issue.
I was very impressed with both the office and the doctor. I found Dr. Gurland to be very professional. He listened to everything we had to say, evaluated the test results and explained clearly the care that was needed. He spent ample time with us and we never felt rushed. We were able to get an appointment quickly and the staff was very helpful both on the phone and in person. I would highly recommend Dr. Gurland and the ID Care group.
Saw the doctors of ID Care when I was hospitalized at Ocean Medical Center. The care they provided was excellent. Saw Dr Dwivedi the most, but did see Dr Lee and Dr Patel as well. They are kind, spends time with you, and answer all questions. Followed up with Dr Dwived in the office. A very simple process. They call you to arrange followup. The nurses are very knowledgeable. I went to this doctor with debilitating Lyme Disease symptoms and multiple strains of borrelia on my Western Blot. He questioned my symptoms telling me It sounded like I had MS (which of course I did not and was ruled out with a brain MRI) did not have the decency to call me himself but had his receptionist call to tell me he could not help me. I finally found a real doctor who treated me for Lyme and I am on my way back to health!! Very shocked this guy is a dr. He’s quite CLUELESS.
I find it hard to believe this guy is an infectious disease doctor. I went to him with blood work & multiple strains of borrelia with symptoms that had me bedridden. Told me I had MS (which obviously I did not have) did not have decency to call me, but had the receptionist tell me I did not have Lyme Disease. I finally found a real doctor who treated me, and am on my way back to health after intense suffering. Maybe he should go back to medical school. He should be ashamed of himself!
He is the most patient doctor I have ever been to. He really listens and explains thing clearly. Really good person and great doctor.
When the emergency room doctor sent me home with a fever and obvious infection, Dr Allegra assisted in getting the hospital to admit me and I then spent a week on IV antibiotics, that the emergency room didn't think I needed. God knows how bad I would have been without him.
