What a kind and wonderful Doctor. She took the time to read every detail in my chart, and listened to what I had to say. I had been to other rheumatologist in the past, and this is the first time I felt heard I feel I am finally getting somewhere with my health. Dr. Ergin is incredibly knowledgeable, Kind and compassionate, and I am so pleased that I finally found her.

She is rude, arrogant and made me suffer longer than I had to. She didn’t believe me and my symptoms. She told me I had myalgia and to work out at the gym and be more active. I was having severe muscle weakness and leg weakness. She tested me for Lyme which was negative and all she wanted to do was give me Flexeril. I finally got a second opinion and was correctly diagnosed with Mixed Connective Tissue Disease. My new rheumatologist told me she never did the correct blood work to show this or Lupus.
Dr. Ergin-Yamazaki has been my rheumatologist for five years now. She is a caring and well rounded clinician who has successfully managed my RA to a state where I am able to keep an active lifestyle with few obvious symptoms of this challenging disease. Her diligence has made it possible for me to live without the painful episodes I had experienced prior to coming under the umbrella of her expertise. I hope to continue as her patient for some years to come.
