Don't judge it by its appearance – From the outside, this place doesn't look inviting in the slightest, but when I decided on a whim to try it, I found myself amazed at what I'd been missing. First off is value - I went during lunch with a friend and had the lunch special, 2 maki rolls for 8.50, and was thoroughly delighted with the result. The service was fast, and my friend and I soon had 20 pieces of sushi sitting in front of us. Disappointing... – It's like a crap shoot going here. But usually the service is poor....and often it takes FOREVER to get your food! I have had to wait 45 minutes to get our order, and one time it only the sushi came, then the rolls a half hour later! Unfortunately, there aren't many options in this town. Aki's was very good for the price, but they have moved and of yet I don't think they're open. Hopefully they haven't gone for good!
