Dr. Sugihara was a really lovely person however her staff was horrendous. Richelle, the manager and another staff member whose name I do not presently recall were the rudest people I ever met. They lack a basic sense of professionalism. I was having health issues and thought that this office would be the last place I would want to go if I was fighting cancer. Dr. Sugihara changed my life. I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the end of 2017. I elected surgery / radiation and a aromatase inhibitor (A.I. = Arimidex). My cancer was estrogen based the A.I. removes estrogen from your system, hence hoping the cancer will not return. After approx. 3 years of taking A.I. I developed Urinary Tract Infections (UTI). She has a happy spirit. I had no problem with Dr. Sugihara, She spent a good amount of time educating me with the issue I had in Layman's terms. Staff was friendly and office was decent. I had no problem in scheduling.
Dr. Sugihara always makes you feel comfortable and efficiently and thoroughly performs your exam.
Dr. Sugihara completely misdiagnosed my post menopausal bleeding. Turns out it was cancer and her misdiagnosis caused me to loose a valuable month and a half of treatment time. By the time is was correctly diagnosed, it had spread to stage 4. Just finished chemo and hoping her laissez faire attitude doesn't cost me my life.
I have been seeing Dr. Sugihara for over 25 years for my OB/GYN care. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. She has always been willing to listen to and answer all my concerns. She performed my hysterectomy, and I never had any problems after the procedure.
