They had so many great dresses to try, and for anyone's who's started the search for the perfect mother-of-the-bride dress, you know that the majority of the dresses you have to choose from are either matronly or too sexy. Sugarplum has styles that appeal to the women who want to look beautiful and feel comfortable without looking frumpy or ultra-sexy... If you're looking to buy a mother-of-the-bride dress and you can make the trek to Long Island, this is worth a stop. Remember to ask for Laurie!

My daughter and I went for her prom dress and we were in and out of the store so fast. Spectacular! I will never go anywhere else. So many sizes, so many styles. The workers were so kind and very informative. Everything is fit to size and the alterations were amazing. I don't usually write reviews, but I had such a pleasant experience. I will definitely go back in a couple of years with my youngest daughter. Thank you, Sugarplum!
I was looking for a dress to wear to a wedding but something that I could wear over again, and I was able to find the perfect dress here. It was a short dress with many beads, but it is very versatile. It wasn't too short or frumpy looking. I had a wonderful experience at Sugarplum. I am a plus-sized girl and was searching for a prom dress. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They showed me lots of different styles. I also like that there were no sizes on the dresses. My sales girl said, "It's your size, sweety", which made me feel confident that there were things to fit my body type and the size was just a number!
Loved my dress and can't wait to wear it. I got my prom dress here years ago (Feels like forever!) and knew this was the best place to come for the perfect dress for my occasion. The staff was very helpful and I would recommend you buying your dress here any day!
