We tried one of each danish, raspberry, apple and cream cheese. All were delicious and the coffee was very good too! The price was very reasonable. $16 for 3 large danish and coffee.
They don’t serve breakfast past 11a on Saturday in a tourist/vacation town?! Came in at 11:10 and, with no one in line, was offered a B.L.T. in lieu of breakfast. Hard cutoff time just like McDonald’s. Lame! People like to sleep in on vacation. At least serve breakfast until actual lunchtime at noon! End rant.
I wish I had a chance to actually review the food here, but I was completely ignored. I stopped in to buy a whole cake plus pastries (and their cakes are not cheap) so I was prepared to spend quite a bit of money, but the workers just chatted amongst themselves and didn't even acknowledge me. What made it an even bigger bummer was it was my birthday! Would not come back.
I think it is one of Tahoes hidden gems. Amazing baked goods. Happy to have discovered this little bakery!
