I strongly advise anyone considering Sugar Law Group to proceed with caution. Based on my experience, they are clearly unprofessional and unethical. They make promises they have no intention of keeping, repeatedly going back on their word, which calls into question their legitimacy as a law group and the integrity of the lawyers representing them. What a rude guy.
Josh Sugar is great. From the moment I submitted my first request, he provided excellent support throughout the entire collections process—even taking matters to court when necessary. For my business, he recovered payments from multiple companies that owed me money. Most cases settled quickly, but when they didn’t, he took them to court—and won. The best Toronto collection law firm to work with.
The worst experience I have witnessed in many years, I can't imagine how this firm could possibly solve anything with the disgusting attitude exhibited, a perfect example of the reason Zero stars should be an option. I can see clearly why there are INCREDIBLY few positive reviews (I question them?), what a shame people like this deal with the general public. Companies that deal with these people should re-evaluate.
If I could I would give them zero stars. Unprofessional and rude. We’re not willing to listen to anything or answer any questions. It was urgent when they were calling me and emailing but the minute I tried to contact them they weren’t there. Did not send any mail confirmation nor was I informed of what was happening at anytime.
