Sugar Drop Cake Supplies... What a rip off! – I decided to try Sugar Drop in Brentwood since it's so close to my house. I normally shop at a place over in the Music Valley Drive area. I will never shop at sugar drop again! Their prices are very high! I bought two pounds of satin ice fondant for $20 only to go to my regular place the next day to find that it's only $10 there. Cake Decorating Supplies sold @ Sugar Drop – Im new to the Nashville area, and i went searching for cake decorating supplies of a little higher quality than Walmart. I came upon Sugar Drop. Everyone was so nice and friendly, and I got just what i needed for my son's first birthday cake. I made it last night and it looks just fabulous. Thank you Sugar Drop!!
Awesome! – I went to Sugar Drop as a new comer to buying and using fondant. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They were able to explain the difference between the various products and explain how to get the best results. Thank You Sugar Drop!! My first time making Hello Kitty fondant cookies was a great experience and they came out great! I received a lot of compliments on the design and taste. I'm so glad I didn't buy the cheapest fondant on the shelf.
Brides by Sugar Drop – This was the worst experience and biggest regret ever. They were not very helpful, kept giving me the run around a lot. When I ordered my bridesmaids dresses, they cut off the wrong color swatch when they were showing me the colors. So the color I thought I ordered, was technically right, but not the color I was told I was ordering. They acted like they were doing me a favor when they said they would fix the dresses for free. A fabulous experience – I went to Brides by Sugar Drop today to browse dresses and check out the selection for my upcoming wedding. The owner, Jan, welcomed me and took great note of what I am looking for. She made excellent dress recommendations and was so easy to work with. They have beautiful, unique dresses at a moderate price point. I had a wonderful time working with Jan and plan to purchase my gown there! Can't beat the service and the beautiful dresses.
Great place for cake decorating supplies – I have been buying by cake decorating supplies from Sugar Drop for about 15 years. The staff is knowledgeable and they sell items for professionals and part-time cake bakers alike. I love the Magic Line pans they sell, I have not found better cake pans anywhere. The peppermint bake supplies there cannot be beat either. I LOVE this store!
good selection – I have gone to this store many times over the years. While I do shop for cake and candy supplies elsewhere as well, Sugar Drop has the best overall selection. I can't comment on the bridal section or customer service since I normally know what I want when I shop there. Based on my experience, I would recommend this store.
Great customer service! – I had to plan my own wedding....on a budget, which meant I was doing a lot of things myself rather than buying them done or paying someone else to do them. The staff at the Sugar Drop was phenomenal! They were so gracious with their time and expertise (one even gave me some money saving tips on my favors!). The selection there is wonderful; you could make any cake or candy you want! I am currently helping a friend plan her wedding and believe me the Sugar Drop is first on our list of stops!
