I visit OBX four times a year with either my sister or my husband, and Sugar Creek is everyone’s favorite restaurant. My husband will not eat anywhere else, and we stay in a house 13 miles away! They both love the shrimp especially, but my favorite is the crab cakes.
Really nice and historical restaurant to visit. Interesting building and decor. The food might not be that good but the experience was nice and the staff was friendly.
Great food , views and Service
My mom and I have been here 4 times and it is very hit or miss. And honestly, 3 out of the 4 times were a miss. The restaurant and service is nice, however, I think yesterday will be our last time going. We’re from Houston, so we know good food. The food is very bland, sometimes overcooked, varying temperatures and the drinks arent very tasty either. They also should invest in better sides, there is hardly any veggie options.
