RecommendedI had two issues with my bike this summer. Each time I brought it by to ask questions (mainly, "How much is this gonna cost me?"), and each time they fixed it on the spot for what I thought was an extremely reasonable price. (Apparently they have two methods for working on bikes: if you've a major overhaul/problem, you need an appointment. Had them do a standard tune-up on my mountain bike at the beginning of the season and it felt like a brand new bike. Recently had a concerning knocking coming from my bottom bracket, dropped it off and they had it diagnosed and fixed within an hour or so along with some random tweaks I requested. Charged me close to nothing, even for an easy fix. For someone with no tools or know-how it is a godsend to have an awesome local shop with such great prices.
10 min two wheel swap out. they answered my 100 questions. And to my suprise left some money in my pocket! north liberty has a an awesome bike shop yo!
Great place to find anything and everything for bicycles. Staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I highly recommend this shop if you are having bike troubles as some of the best mechanics are here.
Best local bike shop around. The staff at SBB is knowledgeable and communicates honestly with you. They provide excellent service and are incredibly helpful when bike emergencies arise. What they don't have in stock they are able to get in quickly. Been taking my bikes to Nate for years and they always ride like a dream when I get them back. Thanks SBB!
Seems like just yesterday that Jon opened his first SBB across the street to the west. It was a small shop, slightly larger than a bathroom! The one thing they had was unparalleled customer service, as they still have to this day. Countless times they've taken care of our needs in quicker than expected and gotten us back on the road or trail. Thank to Jon and the entire shop crew! You guys rock!
