Please get a second opinion. Dr. Hussain will not consider your health history and is only interested in current labs. You will be told to put your previous labs away. I had to go to the Cleveland Clinic to get an actual doctor to listen and my diagnosis is absolutely not even close to what Dr. Hussain said and furthermore the medication I was put in was actually damaging my kidneys. Dr. H and the staff are wonderful. I was very upset when my last lupus doctor transferred to another hospital out of state. But then I went to Dr. H and she took her time, is very caring and concerned with her patients. Definitely would recommend her as I have already; they were very happy with her as well.
Dr. Hussain is a wonderful doctor! I’ve been through a couple so-called rheumatologists and she’s hands down the best there is. I feel a sense of comfort whenever I have an appointment with her. She figured me out when nobody else could.
Dr. Hussain has been incredible about taking the time to listen to me and getting me the care I need to manage symptoms from multiple autoimmune disorders.
Before they diagnose you with rheumatoid, check your Vitamin D levels! I was told I have rheumatoid & took medication that DID NOT HELP. Come to find out all the joint pain was from Vitamin D deficiency. Many Dr's don't test for Vit D unless u ask. Then they prescribe u Vit D2 when your body needs D3. After taking high doses of D3, I can finally walk after only 4 days of takingD3.. Be your own Dr! These Dr's are poorly educated these days.
