Excellent doctors
I have been a patient of Suffolk OBGYN since 1971. The Dr's and office staff were wonderful and professional for all the years Dr Giammarino was my Dr. I would NEVER allow anyone else to touch me. Since Dr G retired, I have seen 4 different doctors in the practice and only ONE had any idea what he was doing. I was told I might have cervical cancer, they performed a D&C, only to discover it was old atrophied fibroids they misdiagnosed as possible tumors. 8 months later I started bleeding heavily, and it took 3 MONTHS to get a... read more
All of these reviews are completely accurate yet I don't see why anything isn't being done about it. Once had a doctor tell me I was basically being "hysterical" come to find out I had a 7.5cm ovarian cyst the entire time. The wait time just to make an appointment is horrendous and when I finally do get an appointment, I always feel rushed when in the office as though they have bigger problems and as a doctor, you should ensure your patients feel comfortable and welcomed. I'm looking for a new doctor.
I have been seeing one of the OBGYN doctor's here for almost 7 years now and recently in the past year I have been very disappointed by this office. My biggest complaint is the fact that they hold your birth control hostage until you have an exam which they require every 6 months if you are on the pill. This is unnecessary and forces you to pay for a second exam every year just to get your pills.
