She failed to treat my cancer the first time with radiation. This was confirmed after the cancer came back more aggressively and in just over 2 years. This was confirmed by 3 other Dr's that I sought out after the cancer returned. The office was difficult to deal with the 2nd time. Dr was out on medical leave when I came back in the office to check on the new lump. My chemo was delayed by a week because the nurse inserted the needle in the wrong place telling me the line was clogged and that I had to go for a port study. Went to Riverside, had to quickly get a chest x-ray, more blood work, change my radiation appt. fast, just to be told that there was nothing wrong with my line, the nurse had put the needle in the wrong place and no one thought to double check to make sure it was in the port. Cancer is scary enough without this.
She is compassionate, caring & thorough, she cares about the patient
Dr Chennuru put me at ease in 2012 when she started treating me for triple neg breast cancer. She told me she would be fighting it aggressively, and did she ever. She has followed up with me ever since, making sure I have all the necessary tests to keep ahead of the cancer coming back. I recommend her to all the women I know. I truly don't believe I would be here today if it hadn't been for Dr Chennuru. .
