I called in march to get myself in to counselling for childhood SA. They said someone would call in June, July came and nothing, I called them back and they tell me I’m not even in the system. What a joke you are!
I have severe depression! It runs in my family! After years if not having treatment I finally decided to put my foot down and talk to someone! The Emergency in HSN wont help unless your immediate threat! I am extremely new about opening up about my feelings and put if off for years! I wear a suit and tie or just 2 peace suit and most people say “If you dress that well you can’t possibly be depressed” it put me off from getting help for years! I have mixed feelings about this place. Sometimes somewhat helpful, sometimes not at all helpful. Some of the crisis staff members will rush you out the door or off the phone. Most of the programs are free and very helpful, but like I said the crisis support could be worked on. I also don't quite understand what the crisis staff do. They just either send u to the hospital or send you home, and a lot of them don't give you any Coping Strategies or information that benefits you. Some of them do tho, so that's good. Placed on a Community treatment order by Dr. Kumar, Dr. Joseph and worker Robert. I need a lawyer to stop it. I tried fighting this order but the lawyer was inexperienced, unprepared and inept. The appeal was literally a clown show. Now I'm forced to go places and see people against my will, ordered only by a doctor with no recourse. Everytime I go to pick up meds, Robert the employee gives me a hassle literally holding my pills back after answering his questions. I had to call the Police just to get pills!!!
