This was our favorite meal we had in Taos! Absolutely delicious, wonderful service, and the wine was also very good. Also, almost the entire menu is gluten free which I really appreciated. Definitely make a res, it's a small place.
If I could give 10 stars, I would. This meal might’ve been the best meal I’ve ever eaten and I will definitely be thinking about it for quite a while. We started with the hamachi and beets & berries appetizers which were out of this world. I’ve had hamachi and beet salads before, but I’ve never had them the way Suchness prepared them. Wow! What amazing experience. Intimate, small restaurant with cool art work and decor. Open kitchen concept. My husband was facing away but I got the best view. It was amazing seeing the chef do his work. Not only that but gosh can you clean my kitchen like that?? Kitchen was immaculate. Food makes this place a destination spot. Food artfully plated. Suchness in Taos. This is probably the best meal I have had in NM. (I've not been to Nosa.) The flavors were impeccable as was the service. The chef and server are the owners. The creativity was as good as the best I've had in Phoenix, Denver, Las Vegas... Worth the drive! We had the Beet and Berry salad, and shrimp sausage appetizers. Suchness is an amazing restaurant! Chef Kevin and Meg are an incredibly talented team. The food was elevated, elegant and delicious. Thoughtfully presented and executed solo which is extremely impressive! Meg has curated a fun and interesting wine list which pairs perfectly with the food. This could easily be a James Beard or Michelin restaurant.
