I would enthusiastically recommend Rita to any parent in search of a reading tutor for their child. We sought out Rita's services after trying several different tutors for our daughter and seeing limited progress through each. Our daughter, a rising 2nd grader, was reading slowly and with a lot of effort. My son was diagnosed with dyslexia in the first grade at a private school. He repeated first grade and received dyslexia services for first and second grade. Now in seventh grade at a public school he has only received 12 weeks of service since second grade. In search of resources for my son I turned to a Facebook group for dyslexic kiddos. I meet Rita thanks to my cousin who was already doing tutoring lessons with her. My cousin recommended her to me and I decided to give it a shot. That was probably the best decision I could've made. I was mostly struggling with reading complicated words because English wasn't my first language and I had an accent that caused me to sometimes mispronounce words. I also struggled with math. We had Rita for our daughter for four years. Rita is a great math teacher but better person. From the start she made Selin comfortable during the sessions, so much that Selin always look forward for the classes. Everything, from scheduling to the actual online sessions with her has been flawless. She always returned our emails promptly and addressed any concerns we had with ease.
