I ordered a turkey sub on their app ahead of time to save time. When I got there rude worker said that they were out of turkey and all I could get was ham or salami as a replacement. I asked why I couldn't get grilled chicken and she said that was too expensive. I don't like ham or salami and offered to pay the difference (which I shouldn't have to) to get the grilled chicken. I normally don’t like leaving negative reviews, but this location in Standish, Maine was honestly disheartening to visit. The employees themselves were polite and clearly doing the best they could, but you can tell they’re working under difficult circumstances. It feels like the owner is cutting corners wherever possible, and unfortunately that seems to limit what the manager is even able to do. Stopped into Subway for a quick bite. Overall, it was a decent experience — the sandwich was fresh and made to order, and the veggies were crisp. The staff was friendly and the place was clean, which I appreciated. That said, nothing really stood out. Bread was a bit dry, and the overall flavor felt a little flat. Not bad by any means, just not super memorable. A solid option when you need something quick and reliable, but not quite a five-star visit.
