Well worth a stop. I took my young kids and they loved it. The cave entrance is close to the parking lot and the hike through the cave is something like 1,000 ft. The cave is tall enough that you can stand the whole time, minus one arm that drops down a little.
Really interesting and nice cool break from Lassen heat.
Make sure to stop if you are passing through.
