Lava cave is a self guided thru hike about 1/3 of the mile. Donations are accepted at the trail entrance. Head lamps are the must. No pets allowed. Go with other people if afraid of the dark, it gets spooky and pitch dark. Unparalleled experience after all.
Really cool experience
Super cool place, free to visit, self guided easy hike. The trail back has lots of branches and can be a little confusing. Please don't leave trash in the cave or vandalize the cave or signs.
