Had a really great experience at Subway today! The place was clean, service was quick, and everything tasted fresh. What stood out the most was the two employees working there — they were incredibly helpful, friendly, and clearly knew what they were doing. They handled everything efficiently while still being polite and attentive. It made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Definitely coming back!
Went here today (about 10 minutes before writing this) and ordered a tuna sub. On the surface, the staff member spoke respectfully but the way he handled my sandwich came accross as unnecessarily rude and dismissive. He handled the sandwich very carelessly—basically slapping the ingredients on like he didn’t care at all. The veggies (lettuce, onions, tomatoes) were thrown on messily. I've visited the Subway on South Burrows Street in State College a handful of times over the past year or so, and previous experiences were always solid. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was a real letdown. I ordered two Footlong Chipotle Philly subs on hearty multigrain, toasted with pepper jack. I always go heavy on the vegetables — extra red onions, extra spinach, extra tomatoes, extra banana peppers, plus baja chipotle, oregano, and extra parmesan.
