Just walked in just about a minute ago! Was immediately told i would be waiting about 15-20 minutes for a half of flat bread with cheese and vegetables. Easy peasy sub. But I wasnt even able to get that far. She immediately told me she had online orders first. I have worked MANY sub places and customer care and I would NEVER start with one person walking telling them they would having have to wait 15-20 mins for an online order. I understand fully places are short. But not a way to start out with a walk in costumer.
If you have online orders to be filled you need to have 2 people working. My husband and I came in about 6:26 pm. There were 4 ppl ahead of us. No big deal she was serving customers diligently. But after the 4 was done she said it will be a few minutes I have to do the online orders. There were 4 orders. We waited and waited and waited. It was ridiculous her working by herself. We stopped at the Lowville Subway 8:25 pm. The worker already had started to close up. I asked her if she had any meatballs and she said no, I just threw them out. Before 8:25 and the door says they are open until 9:30.
Placed an online order. At 10:50am. Way before lunch rush. It is spelled out exactly how you want your sub. Wrong roll. Not toasted. It's a shame.
Me and my family come here 1-2x a week and i think it's the best "fast" food restaurant in town. A worker named Nicole (i hope I'm remembering that right) was so friendly and upbeat even during a rush. The food is always great and the place is always clean
