I always try to support local businesses as a resident, but my experience today was disappointing. The lady with glasses did not greet us when we walked in and was not welcoming. My children (age 5) and their cousins (10 and under) had just gotten out of school and needed to use the restroom, but we were immediately denied unless I purchased something first. I arrived at 10:15 am and it was closed, there were 2 workers and they didn't open, it's Sunday, May 11, they said it was closed and they were sitting looking at their cell phones, I will never return.
Today (3-09-25) I went to this El Monte Subway and was attended by Jacob. He could not be more professional, courteous, helpful, or friendlier than he was. He helped us the entire time with a smile on his face. A better employee you'd be hard pressed to find. And the food was the best I've ever had from any Subway restaurant.
