I genuinely do like the subway, and my experience. It's been one of the better subways in the area… The staff is always friendly and very kind. That being said today, I went to pick up dinner for me and my husband and the staff was kind as usual, but it was two people I hadn't seen working before, there was one girl who wore pigtails with very long hair. Just shut it down already!! I have lived here for 5 years and it has been a joke for 5 years!! Had to walk out without even placing an order - again!
Don't go here for lunch unless you have 20 to 30 minutes to spare. I placed a mobile order at 12:50, arrived at 1:00 and stood until 1:15 waiting. So 25 minutes for a salad. And after waiting, if I'm not mistaken, he/she just turned around and picked it up from the counter behind them to hand it to me. And to make it worse, it had the wrong dressing on it. I could have driven the extra 3 miles to Salad and Go and gotten it faster, cheaper and accurate!
Unfortunately, despite the employees being friendly, the service at this location is consistently an issue. They always seem overwhelmed and understaffed, which was much more understandable back in COVID, but that is not a real excuse now. Our most recent online order was an awful experience, as all four of our sandwiches did not match what we ordered online. I am beyond frustrated! Every time I visit the Subway off 156 in Justin, TX, it turns into a 30-40 minute ordeal—something that seems to be the common experience around town and likely why many people avoid this location. Tonight 6-24-2025 around 7 PM, I went in and it took about 15 minutes just to reach the counter. The young man working seemed new and was clearly struggling, which I can understand.
