One of the worst fast food experiences I’ve ever had. During my first visit, I ordered and paid for a sandwich and began filling my personal water bottle with water from the drink fountain, just tap water, nothing else. An employee stopped me and insisted I needed to pay for the water, claiming I was stealing and that the water was “money.” Mind you, I wasn’t using any bottled water or taking soda, just using the soda fountain for plain water. This subway, they never clean the dining tables, always filthy and sticky. Having said that, their variety of meat are covered up behind their counter as we CANNOT see what type of meat we can order. Subway Harwood ave, Ajax location- The service level/customer service is as awful and pathetic as the food quality. The people working here lock the washroom at 10pm, put stuff across so none can use. Why then accept orders and allow eat-in? What if a Customer needs to use the washroom. These guys don’t have simple civic sense. Will NEVER VISIT AGAIN.
