There’s probably a reason why I see this place is perpetually empty every time I walk by it. I hadn’t been to a subway in good 3-4 years so I do not remember what the bread options are. I walked up to the counter and asked ‘what the bread options were’ as I started to read their menu. The guy behind the counter hits me with ‘You never been to a Subway before in Subway life?’. This Subway location is my absolute favorite in Chicago! It is always extremely clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The atmosphere is so pristine and welcoming, and the person working here is so warm, polite, and truly kindhearted. Everything is consistently fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this spot to everyone!
I’ve come here with my service dog before and the two employees have never cared and welcomed him. Today I come in and there’s an old man employee that immediately tells me no dogs. I tell him right away he’s a service dog and he asked for a card which is illegal and not a thing to exist. There were even 2 cops in there that told him he can’t do that but they didn’t do much else to defend me. They even have a sticker about service dogs being allowed on the window.
