I was in Tappahannock Subway on Friday June 19, 2026 and this is what I observed. The Manager, Sontonia was training 5 young employees and waiting on customers too. She never lost her stride. Never raise her voice. Stayed calm the entire time.
Yesterday I came in to get some food, and a woman brushed past me and didn't say anything. It wasnt until the manger and a another employee came out an told me it was closed, and that they werent sure why there tm wouldnt saying anything to us and there was another person in there too. now why would you keep the store unlocked and not have a sign saying why it was closed? Ive been to this store plenty of times and this is just the worse I thought they were closing down for good
This place has so many problems I'm convinced the owners don't care. 3 times this month, they had no bread or meats. They offered to make a vegetable sub on the rare day they had bread. The workers are overworked because, there's usually only 1 worker. With that being said it's still no excuse to be nasty and rude then on top of that admit that they ignore mobile and delivery orders to serve walk-in customers only!!! They are constantly out of nearly everything necessary to make subs and their toaster is never operational. Absolutely the worst subway out there.... Don't waste your time.
