A gal was working tonight and I had an online order. She was great, this was at the Chetek location. Chips were on my order but she didn’t receive them so she kindly used her own money to pay for the bag of chips.
My rating has nothing to go with service. The employees were courteous and nice. My issue was with the “billing and tip process.” When I went to pay with my credit card, an automatic tip was added to the bill. No question if I wanted to leave a tip, but already added. The customer then , can figure out if they want to adjust it by more or less, but the process is backwards. Don’t automatically add something like a tip , at Subway, without first asking! Not right.
Ordered on the app. Every sub was wrong. Each order was on the wrong bread, ingredients from one sub was on a different sub order. Not one of the 3 subs we ordered was correct. Phone is apparently not working so couldn’t even call to complain. If you want subs-go in and order to make sure you get what you’re paying for. Workers clearly can’t read the online orders.
We came to this location on Sunday, 7/19/26 at 3pm. No customers, just us. It took about 45 seconds before some heavy set girl came out from the back. Terrible attitude. Couldn't smile. Didn't know the sandwich I ordered from menu. Took her forever to make sandwiches. Every table in there was dirty. We had nowhere to sit. Just a horrible experience at this location.
Service was great and my sub was amazing. The employee working was chance and he did a great job! I don’t go to subway that often and had a great experience!
