It's probably been the better part of a decade since I ate at a Subway so my opinion is prefaced by that. But long gone are the days of the $5 footlong. I got a 6" sandwich and it alone was $7.50. After a drink and some chips it cost me $10.85 in total. Subway isn't worth it at those prices.
The customer service is great, and the food is very good. The place looks clean. However, I gave it 3 stars because they light incense inside the restaurant, which smells unpleasant. Many people don’t appreciate that. I’m not sure why they do this in a restaurant; it would be more appropriate in their homes, not in a place where food is served
We stopped in on the way to the airport for a quick bite. We were impressed with their attention to detail. Each ingredient was placed deliberately, not just tossed, on the bread, so that they looked balanced, covering all of the surface area evenly. They really took their time, and it was worth it.
