I don't know what the portion size for their bowls are but it is not it here. Paid $24 and change for a extra grilled chicken bowl with full add ons of bacon, pepperoni, guac and all the veggies besides onions or olives and my bowl still had room to shake. For context the Subway on Smith St had loaded my bowl to where the contents were touching the lid...on a regular order. I enjoy my visits.
This was one of the 1st Subway locations in RI, which I've been visiting since my college days in the 1980's. Was always a great value but they have really started to cut corners...sandwiches have shrunk in size, coupons have been discontinued, staff has been reduced to often just one employee working alone, even at busy times. With food prices soaring, this new attitude is going to be the demise of a great Subway location. Hopefully the company gives this owner a wakeup call before it's too late.
