I’d give Subway a 3/5. Growing up, Subway used to be one of my favourite spots for a quick sandwich, but unfortunately, I feel like the quality has gone downhill quite a bit over the past few years. My biggest issue is how the sandwiches are prepared. Too often, everything gets piled into the crease of the bread instead of being spread out properly, so you end up with a few bites full of toppings and other bites with barely anything. Be aware this is considered a “premium location” for some reason so the prices are significantly higher than normal. For example: a 12” meatball sub is normally $9.99 but it is $14.19 here. That’s more than a 40% premium and completely unjustified. Bayshore is a regular mall in the suburbs and there’s no reason that it should be considered a “premium location”. Very disappointing experience with the customer service at Subway. We ordered the “Buy 2 Footlongs, Get 1 Free” offer. We bought one Veggie Patty and one Veggie Delite, and for the free Footlong, we chose another Veggie Patty. Instead of charging us correctly, they charged us for two Veggie Patty Footlongs, including the one that was supposed to be free.
