We bought a meatball sub on Friday. The meatballs were old and stale. We tried to call Saturday at lunch time, no one answered the phone, so my husband went down and talked to them in person. The staff said they don't have a phone and the owners won't allow them to have one. Went there and the meatballs were still the same ones as the day before. Food was excellent. Fresh and delicious. Customer service was quick. They greeted me as soon as I entered the door.
I placed an online order to pickup for my boyfriend and I to have for dinner. I went on the app and noticed they were open until 10– so I placed the order at 8:38. Saw the order was confirmed and placed so we got ready and drove out there. When we got there the sign was off and when I opened the app I saw that it was voided?! I understand not wanting to be there late but I placed it OVER an hour before close which is just unacceptable. They refunded the order but wtaf I wasted not only gas but also time.
The service is fine and the building is clean. They never seem to have enough chips out and their oven never heats up the sandwiches enough. But the ingredients seem fresh and that's all that really matters. I do wish they had more indoor seating and more parking, but it's a small place.
It'd be a 5 if the sub rolls we're fresh.
