I get it. Hanging out by the dumpster on your phone is important work. You would think you might want to check on the front counter every 5-10 minutes but, really, why bother. Thankfully, it gave me time to notice that the lettuce was white and brown, the pickles were dry and splitting and the tomatoes looked like they probably needed therapy from all the things they had seen in life. It was just long enough to realize that life is too short to waste it on Subway. Bye! Sorry we never got to meet!

The attitude was louder than the service. The young Black girl working alone today—Saturday, June 21st around 4 PM—was cute in the face, nasty in the attitude. I get it, working solo is stressful. But if you clock in, do the job. Nobody forced you to be there, so at least fake a smile if customer service isn’t your strong suit. All I wanted was a side of banana peppers.
