I visited the Subway in John Day. This Subway is NOT dog friendly. It was a warm day; we asked to purchase a cup for a little ice and water for our Mini-Aussie. The young man said we had to pay the full price a fountain drink.He apologized, shrugged, and stated, "the owner makes the rules". I found the prices to be a bit higher compared to other Subway locations, although the absence of sales tax was a nice perk.
