Puts the ‘sub’ in Subway - and not in a good way. As a global Subway reviewer, I have to say, Camberwell is the worst. Even compared to the dodgy parts of London, Camberwell stands out. The quality of the product and the service are abysmal. The sandwich artists - foregoing their non-existent customer service skills - clearly lean so far into the abstract, they make a Picasso look like a Rembrandt. All I can say, is go to Kew. The manager knows how to craft and fine Sub and pull a good smile!
Came in to order my regular, and this guy served me. I told him my order, what bread, type of cheese and size. He was standing right in front of me ready to make my sandwiches too, he started asking what type of meat I wanted. I was so confused since I said my order clearly right at his face, then he yelled “Meat!” I had to repeat my order 2-3 times slowly for him to understand. So cheap. You may as well just buy bread and eat it. Worst subway I’ve ever had and will never go back. Sooooooooooo tight.
Very bad service from the sandwich artist guy. Was very rude. He also put only 3 veggie patties, while every other subway puts 4.
