The so-called “Sandwich Artist” was a rotund Indian man who barely spoke a word of English and was openly rude from the second I stepped up to the counter. He didn’t acknowledge me, didn’t ask what I wanted, just barked “Bread?” while glaring like I’d personally offended him. Always a polite young man working there.
I’m celiac, and I thought I’d try the gluten free wraps. The woman who served me was very uninterested and told me they had no gluten free wraps. That’s okay, I said I’d try a salad instead - she then served me this 3/4 empty salad bowl with barely anything and rushed me through the whole process. I felt like I was an inconvenience to her time and she had somewhere else to be.
