Nearly a week ago, my son and I was passing through St. Germain WI and decided to place an online order like we always do. I placed the order but got there as the young lady was making it. She had a clean presence, was nice and was wearing gloves. I watched her make my sandwich (shredded chicken bacon ranch foot long). I was so hungry. One worker on a Saturday at lunch hours
New ownership made this place go down hill fast. The last 3 times I’ve been here, I’ve had to wait 30+ minutes to get a sub. Even when there’s only 5-7 people ordering it seems to take them forever. Ingredients are always low or out. Employees make it seem like it’s an inconvenience to ask for ingredients that are empty and they have to go to the back to get more. I had the worst experience at Subway today. The line was out the door, and it took over 45 minutes to get a single sandwich. They had ONE employee working the entire counter, fumbling through orders while trying to handle everything alone. No one was restocking ingredients, so they kept running out of basics like lettuce and bread. The poor worker looked overwhelmed, and the manager was nowhere in sight.
