In town for work and felt like picking up a sandwich at Subway. Walked in and was greeted by the staff at the counter. Ordered a footlong turkey sandwich. The staff were friendly and the sandwich was good. Would come back to this shop again in the future.
The only "chain" restaurant open in Seward in the off season. Good hot food, good prices, great staff.
Currently (and for the past month or so) Subway has been understaffed. There are only 4 people who work the shop, 2 of which are there between the hours 9 am to 8 pm. They are there 9-10+ hours, 6-7 days of the week (they are lucky to get a day off). Anyone who has a working brain should understand why the workers may be in a bad mood or short tempered. Food was just what we had ordered
The staff was absolutely disrespectful and had disgusting customer service. I asked about an online order and the person that I spoke with was rude and short. When I told them that there was no need for the attitude they told me to “shut up” and hung up the phone. This is incredibly frustrating since I have never had a bad experience with subway.
