Was approached by a lady with 2 small kids at Applebee's stating she was 4 hours from home, her luggage had been stolen and she desperately needed money. The following weekend we went into Subway (Sardis rd, Asheville) and the same lady was working behind the counter! We were baffled. How could someone panhandle and use their kids as pawns to make someone feel sorry for her? She immediately began acting strangely, it was obvious she recognized us.
