My experience with this OB/GYN office was extremely disappointing and, at times, concerning. From my very first appointment, I was never given the opportunity to see a physician. Despite having a history of miscarriage and being in a high-anxiety situation, I was only seen by staff and never a doctor until the day my ultrasound confirmed there was no heartbeat. Had a less than ideal situation with my labor; I loved that Dr Michael was respectful of my wishes and did his best to see to it that we did what we could to keep my original birth plan (an unforeseen emergency came up that required a change). He came highly recommended by a home birth company and it's easy to see why. I hope he never retires - when he does that will be such a sad day!
They canceled my appointment because they were missing paperwork. I was not notified in any way shape or form that paperwork was incomplete. Why didn't you just call me? I got a text notification that my appointment was canceled and I had to take time out of my busy schedule to call them. When I did call, I got an ignorant person on the phone who just kept asking, "What do you want me to do?" Also I’ve never had an appointment canceled due to missing paperwork. My mother was saved by this practice when she was in her younger years and facing complicated female issues that her primary just keep brushing off. I have been with Suburban Women's Health Specialists since I was a teenager and they have always taken wonderful care of me. I am now facing a major surgery and I know that I am in the best hands.
