Everyone was friendly and helpful. Everything was clearly explained and done efficiently. I highly recommend their services.
The staff at Suburban Research Associates are friendly and knowledgeable. They are able to work with your personal schedule to get you appointments and keep you updated if there are any changes. I have done several studies with them over the years and am never disappointed with the level of service provided.
While you’re part of their research you’re seen as an important patient, but as soon as you decide to leave the program and stop taking the experimental medication, you become an immediate afterthought. Dr. Hatti no longer calls you on time as scheduled the way he always would, even though he’s supposed to keep you as a patient and oversee your progress (and continue renewing your prescription) for 3 more months after the entire process is over, until you can find your own psychiatrist. Overall I had a positive experience with Suburban Research Associates. My biggest criticism stems from my interactions with Dr. Hatti. Dr. Hatti seems to suffer from auditory deficit disorder. On multiple occasions I have conveyed to Dr. Hatti that I was sleep-deprived from being off a particular medication. Dr. Hatti encouraged me to hang in there as he believed I was benefiting from the experimental medication. It was not a good outcome. On the positive side I found the rest of the staff to be incredibly professional.
