LEAVING once we finally receive our last delivery. We have had our last 3 deliveries of gas mishandled (forgotten?mis-scheduled?). Even after telling SP it’s currently our sole source of heat rt now, & w/the worst temps & snow/ice we’ve had in quite some time, they have pushed back this week’s SCHEDULED delivery repeatedly. Now we’re supposed to get it during snow & ice…I find that unlikely & we have small animals that will also suffer. The people are nice but if you can’t deliver on time, as promised 2/3 yrs in a row you cl... read more

All around unpleasant experience. Their business model is borderline unethical and revolves around tank rental fees and delivery fees, not the sale of propane. The nicest thing I can say about Suburban propane is that their staff are pleasant, and they sound exasperated trying to explain their processes and make excuses for the company they work for. Then when I called to cancel, a year and a half ago, they left the tank and then charged me a MINIMUM charge for not filling the tank saying 5 ... read more

I recently had Suburban come out to install a tank. The worker, Mike, was just wonderful. He found a leak when he was trying to pressurize the tank. He worked for 2 hours making the needed repair and making sure it was done right. I was his last call and I'm sure he wanted to go home. He made sure the leak was fixed and all my gas appliances were working. This guy is a credit to Suburban propane.
