The worst company I have ever had to work with. They were charging us dollars over the state average for propane per gallon. We had to call them every bill to get it reduced. We ended up moving providers because of their crazy prices. Now we can not get them to pick up their tanks. It's been 3+ months and they schedule a date and never actually pick them up. I used Suburban Propane in Augusta for years. I heat a Greenhouse with fruit tree's all winter. I used a 1000 gal. tank. So I burn through a lot of Gas in winter. You'd think I'd be a preferred customer. Nope! In fact, after trying to place a 2nd 1000 gal. tank on an abutting property, the hassles and condescending attitude of the saleslady had me asking more questions and looking elsewhere. Come to find out I was paying 3 times more than I should have been charged. I immediately dumped SP. Never looking back.
Vern came out on a Sunday as our furnace had stopped working. He was prompt and professional. He was able to trouble shoot the issues very quickly and had it back and running in no time. Thanks Vern!
We've been using Suburban Propane for about a year. Amy in service, Ken the tech and Jacob the delivery guy have all been great. The wait times for monitor installation was long at one point, but understandable, there are only so many techs employed.
Waste of time. Waited over a month for a tech to come out. Finally came, and left. Over two weeks later, still no estimate for propane tanks etc for our generator and I have called at least 5 times only to first be told that a tech would call, then that Amy would call. Then I called and asked for Amy but she wasn’t available. Complete waste of time. Zero response. Don’t waste your time.
