Do not do the "budget plan" with this company they will bleed you dry. I have made a couple 350 dollar payments but my account balance shows -390. I call to get it resolved they said I was all paid up even though it showed a balance owed of 350. I asked further about the 350 balance it shows online and then she said I had to pay that even though she just said I was all paid up! Just called them about getting our tank filled and was told it was $4.49 a gallon!!! The national average is about $2.50- $2.70 a gallon. We will be canceling our service with them and going with another company. This is price gouging at its finest. We have been a customer with them for over 40 years and have noticed a decline in their service. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for their propane needs.
Ordered propane on a Monday with a delivery day of Friday. Sorry you were given a Friday delivery date. Changed to Saturday. Delivery driver went in a ditch. I’ll be there after tow truck arrives. No delivery. Customer service our delivery day will be the 20th. Our tank was at 10-15 % when we ordered. Less than 5% now, we’ve shut our heat off. Temperatures in the 30,s tonight and teens tomorrow. After yeasts with Suburban they are unable to give a delivery date, 7-10 days.
The company itself is very average (nothing noteworthy good or bad). But I’m writing this 5 star review because of Ms Darla. I’ve been with Suburban Propane for about a year now and it seems every time I call she answers. She’s always pleasant and helpful. I called yesterday to schedule a refill and she explained to me that their systems were down and there was unfortunately nothing she could do at that moment. Sucks- but these things happen. Well, I can’t go any lower or I would but I think this is a very terrible place for anyone everywhere I’ve priced propane is half the price 2.15 to 2.50 a gallon and they’re trying to charge for 4.40 a gallon. What a joke would never recommend this place to anyone. They’re just trying to rape everyone wow how pathetic.
