She understood my concern completely and saved a customer for the company. I have spoken with her and other reps at this specific office over the years. Garbage customer service. I have an account that is not on auto delivery specifically so I can request when I need to top off my tank. I get a delivery today out of the blue and a $906 bill when I am specifically waiting for fuel prices to fall before I request a fill up. Call customer service and their reasoning for the delivery is they need to do a winter top off and I have to do it once per calendar year. Hello? It's JULY.
An absolutely terrible company. They’ll find ways to take advantage of you around every corner. They’ll let your tanks run dry, despite being on “automatic” fills, then charge you double to fill the tank. Then when you switch companies due to terrible service, they’ll completely delete any history if you being a customer and leave you with a 500gal tank with 200gal still in it instead of crediting you back the money. Avoid at all costs.
Often very rude customer service. Drivers are not properly trained how to locate a tank on property. Delivery mistakes are made all the time and then the customer is lectured as to how it is not the Suburban Propane fault and they have bunch of excuses on why the request was not honored. Overcharging way above quoted price per gallon and then lecture about how this is just like gas prices that change day to day. Not trustworthy.
