It's very frustrating dealing with these folks. They don't come over when they say. Whenever you call for repairs they say "tomorrow" but never come over. You put your account on autopay and you still get late charges and they deny you ever gave them the credit card info even though they ran the card on file a few times already. Then when you call, they patronize you and talk like a kindergarten teacher and gas light you with more promises of "tomorrow" or "I couldn't enter the door code" after you gave them the code sev...Ā read more
Possibly the worse Customer Service I have ever dealt with in 20+ years. We recently moved to the Dover Area in DE. We had an emergency leak on our propane tank after the snowstorm. They send a technician over a week ago who only replaced a piece of damaged pipe. The tank is still missing a foot and is not very stable. I asked the office if the technician checked how many gallons of propane, we had in the tank (considering we had a leak!!!): the agent said "I don't have the information handy" - which is ridiculous. Thank you Mimi in Customer Service for being so courteous, understanding & personable! I was trying to pay my bill online for a week to no avail. Was concerned I would be charge with a late fee. She put me at ease & assisted me with getting the bill paid. As far as Suburban Propane, I locked in at a very reasonable rate which is unheard of in this crazy economy. Thank Mimi & the Customer Service Staff. You go above & beyond with any questions I have!Ā
There brought me propane in May and charged .61 cents more than the previous delivery per gallon. I guess they wanted to get as much as they could at the end of the season. Generally I order my propane so why would they just bring it. I will not recommend this company to anyone. Getting away from them. I'd give 0 star if I could.Ā
I am a current customer. Over a year ago, I requested to be taken off āauto-shipā. I was told they did, that I would just be responsible for checking my meter and calling in when I needed a refill. I agreed. Yesterday, while no one was at my home, they came onto my private property and filled my tank without my approval or request to do so. I still have at least 200 gals left. This is the worst company I have EVER used. I bought a house in 2019 with a leased underground propane tank. I was told āthereās only three years left on the lease,ā assuming I would pay lease for three years and then own it (never having used propane before). 2 years in I called to ask when I would own it exactly because Suburban is charges me DOUBLE what other companies charge! beware Do not use. They Done damage on property and was call in 100 times to fix The damage that they cause and they keep saying they will take Care of it but been over 2 month and still nothing. Gona have to go to court and get court order for them to take this seriously.Ā
I hate liars. Look up Suburban Propane Huntsville, AL in the online Yellow Pages and the first thing you see is the slogan: "Our Business Is Customer Satisfaction" . This is a lie and me and my family are not the only unfortunate former customers to learn this fact the hard way. We have now chosen a different propane company in Oneonta, Alabama. Do what you want.
