Called for propane $1.99gal intro. Woman hassled me bc I was a previous customer, said she would send paperwork to sign up that day. Called next day after not receiving paperwork. Sent in paperwork and had to call again bc no acknowledgement of receipt of needed paperwork needed and to know when the $99 inspection would occur. Told them I owned my tank. Rip off. We recently purchased our home and four months ago we had someone from Suburban Propane come out to check the propane tank and fill it up (Approximately $170). At that time they said it should last for a year. Fast forward four months later we get a bill for $40 - $23 for service fees, deliver, etc, $17 for the actual propane. We never asked them to come. I went to the plaza location for an appointment today at another business. I happened to park in the one available spot and took my child to his appointment. In the middle of my appointment, I was interrupted to find out that a Suburban Propane employee had blocked my car in claiming that I parked in “her” spot. I go out to move my car because I didn’t want it to get towed in case I did miss a sign. I kindly apologized to the lady because I didn’t know there were assigned spaces in the parking lot. I am a customer in Palmetto Dunes but live in another state. I just arrived and was walking around my property with my property manager today and he thought me smelled gas. I immediately called Lynette who advised me that she would send someone out. Within two hours I had a technician find I had a part failure and a major gas leak. I wanted to cancel the inspection but Lynette told me that if I thought I smelled it, I had no choice. Thank you for having an employee like Lynette for making me do the right thing.
