I’m tired of their accounting screw-ups. We get delivery and an invoice, which includes a discount if paid within 10 days. I pay the day after delivery….well before the discount goes away. Then Suburban says I didn’t qualify for the discount and owe more money. This has happened twice in three deliveries this winter. Now I’ll need to spend an hour of calls Monday to get it straightened out yet again. Accounting 101. Fix it.

On 6/23/23 I called Suburban propane about a hot water issue. We were only getting about 5 gallons of hot water at time. An appointment was set for 6/26/23. The repairman arrived on 6/26 at 7:50am and initially diagnosed the problem as a faulty mixing valve. We continued to talk about it. He then attempted to increase the water temp. They didn't bill us appropriately, then charged late fees despite them not sending us a bill. They also didn't issue any sort of contract for over a year, then sent a contract that didn't match the terms we were given when the tank was set up.

Scheduled a site survey for a tank installation at a house we are building. Was given a 2 hour window (8-10am). They did not show up and did not call. Plenty of other options out there.
