I will be filing a complaint with the North Carolina Utilities Commission regarding this situation: On January 29th, around 2:30pm, Suburban Propane came onto my elderly parents’ property in Leland and removed their propane tank without authorization. We recently renovated our home and switched to a gas stove and fireplace and we needed propane so we selected Suburban Propane and we could not be happier as their price is very competitive and the service is second to none. We made a great choice!
There was a billing issue that took 6 phone calls since October to hopefully resolve. They kept using the wrong bank account for payment. They also wouldn't update the billing address until multiple phone calls.
would never use you again, came, added ZERO propane - which cannot happen since my Generac cycles on and off every month, we use are propane cooktop almost nightly and the propane fireplace in winter months. Then for adding ZERO gallons of Propane charged me a service fee and multiple taxes for about $76 dollars.
We called their office after they were here in Dec. saying they owned the propane tank. The office told us they had no record of anything at this address. Last Thursday before the storm, they came on our property. My husband and I were not at home. They took the propane tank. There were no markings on it….it was full of propane in case we’d lose power.
