My wife and I signed up with suburban propane last year May, at that time I was quoted by Reta that my first fill would be $1.59 a gallon, the second $1.79 and $1.99 for the third and it would fluctuate after that but never to exceed $1.99. Issue after issue after issue after issue. Bills would come and be wrong. Would be like pulling teeth to get corrected. They would show up and fill my tank and send a bill when I was NOT on that plan. A couple of times they "topped it off" when I had not even used it 1x since the last time they topped it off. Would NOT show up for scheduled repairs/service. Would show up WITHOUT appointment for repairs/service. Broke my gas insert, cannot be put back together. These guys SUCK!
Worthless customer service. Talked to their 800 customer service and was told one thing, local customer service told me another. Contract is up in November, I know the exact date, and will be calling to have the tank removed. My gas logs aren't a necessity, I'll find someone else, or do without.
