We were two weeks late paying our bill, but when we did, Suburban Propane refilled the tank to heat our daughter's basement apartment...and then put a lock on it. When did I find out about the lock? On the night the temperature dropped down to five degrees. I call to have the lock removed. A tech can't get to my house until the Monday -- after a weekend of a polar vortex roaring through Hampden County, Mass. AND I HAD TO PAY $155 to have the lock removed. Suburban just stole $155 from my family less than three weeks before C... read more

Thank you Mimi in Customer Service for being so courteous, understanding & personable! I was trying to pay my bill online for a week to no avail. Was concerned I would be charge with a late fee. She put me at ease & assisted me with getting the bill paid. As far as Suburban Propane, I locked in at a very reasonable rate which is unheard of in this crazy economy. Thank Mimi & the Customer Service Staff. You go above & beyond with any questions I have!

There brought me propane in May and charged .61 cents more than the previous delivery per gallon. I guess they wanted to get as much as they could at the end of the season. Generally I order my propane so why would they just bring it. I will not recommend this company to anyone. Getting away from them. I'd give 0 star if I could.

ZERO For past 8 yrs this business has fraudulently claimed that they own the gas tank on my father’s property despite numerous requests that they show us the account contract. Even though we cancelled the gas delivery contract with them 3 yrs ago, they still send us annual statements for the tank rental fee which they label as “account management”. They know they don’t own the tank because they have no documentation to support their claim. BEWARE!! My family does NOT RECOMMEND this business!!!!

I am a current customer. Over a year ago, I requested to be taken off “auto-ship”. I was told they did, that I would just be responsible for checking my meter and calling in when I needed a refill. I agreed. Yesterday, while no one was at my home, they came onto my private property and filled my tank without my approval or request to do so. I still have at least 200 gals left. I didn’t need a refill. They came anyway. I am not on auto-fill, they came anyway. They filled my tank and left me with a 1300+ bill in my door, wit... read more

We had an issue which could have been a very serious problem. Our high-pressure regulator had a leak. Although it was small leak, we did lose about 80 gallons over time. They determined this by our past usage. We did not smell gas until recently. They came out replaced the regulator filled the tank and gave us a credit for the 80 gallons. Thank you suburban much appreciated.

Very friendly and accommodating. Their prices are pretty good compared to the others. Been with them for 3 years now. No complaints. Don't know other peoples issues are.

ZERO. -ZERO stars for this company, EVERY Year, on EVERY single level. Year after year. ...-Price gouging. Sued for it multiple times. They claim to have other benefits -but they only apply to their "Big Accounts", those who do not spend thousands get stiffed worse. Their "deals" come with a COSTLY Catch. --HORRIBLE, non existent customer service skills from the bottom all the way up to their supervisors. -Supervisors who work employees over time WITHOUT pay, get Holiday Bonuses large enough to buy Cars -(Cal, company CEO wh... read more
