We recently moved into a house and contacted the company to transfer the existing propane system into our name. The very next day, someone came out and shut the system off, telling us we had to pay for an inspection and application process before service could continue. When I asked why an inspection was necessary since this was not a new installation and the system had already been in use, I was simply told, "That's just how it works."
