Wherever I go, suburban makes my life difficult. When in the northeast, they simply don’t deliver and let the heat go out in sub zero temps. Here in NC, they let my HOAs laundry room sit with broken connections for a month so no dryers. It’s like a 2 hr job. I think their slogan is ´we’ll do it when we feel like doing it’. Always nice people working for them. The company is just too short sighted to have enough of them around.
Update! First, weak response from the owner. You had your opportunity to handle my situation and for a member of your management team to contact me to make it right. Instead, after closing my account and turning off auto pay suburban propane added more fees to my account. They never sent a bill, but they sent my account to collections. All around unpleasant experience. Their business model is borderline unethical and revolves around tank rental fees and delivery fees, not the sale of propane. The nicest thing I can say about Suburban propane is that their staff are pleasant, and they sound exasperated trying to explain their processes and make excuses for the company they work for.
