Update! First, weak response from the owner. You had your opportunity to handle my situation and for a member of your management team to contact me to make it right. Instead, after closing my account and turning off auto pay suburban propane added more fees to my account. They never sent a bill, but they sent my account to collections. All around unpleasant experience. Their business model is borderline unethical and revolves around tank rental fees and delivery fees, not the sale of propane. The nicest thing I can say about Suburban propane is that their staff are pleasant, and they sound exasperated trying to explain their processes and make excuses for the company they work for. We are very light users of propane, so for the last two years we have not taken delivery of any propane. Despite not receiving any propane we are charged $137.47 as a minimum bi... read more
This company has been an absolute disaster and I would not recommend them at all. It has been nothing but constant issues. The monitoring for fuel delivery is not accurate and we have ran out of fuel multiple times and when they come deliver fuel they don't turn it back on or restart the hot water heater. I was left without a stove for Thanksgiving because a Tech could not fix a simple issue with a burner not working. Than they proceeded to try and give me a outrageous service charge.
